Eng. Mohamed Bin Badr Al-Sadah

Group Chief Executive Officer

Eng. Mohamed Al-Sadah joined Estithmar Holding as Group Chief Executive Officer in September 2023. Eng. Al-Sadah has a wealth of industry experience across various sectors, such as Oil and Gas, Investments and Telecom.

Prior to joining Estithmar Holding, Eng. Al-Sadah led several central functions in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Business Development at Vodafone Qatar, as well as Chief Executive Officer at Hasad Food Company. He also held other senior positions in the period he worked for Qatar Investment Authority. 

Eng. Al-Sadah holds an Engineering degree from the University of Arizona, USA, and he previously held several other senior positions: Chairman of Widam Food and Vice Chairman of Baladna Food Industries Co, and now holds Board Member positions in both Qatar Development Bank and Al-Hosn Investment Company.

Mr. Walid Shalan

Group Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Walid Shalan is an accomplished Corporate Finance Executive. He has been a key member of Power International Holding as an Executive Director, Group Corporate Finance, Investment and Financial Planning. His strong leadership record led to improved financial performance, productivity, enhanced internal controls, and robust risk management within the group.

His experience spans for over 15 years in the GCC and the Middle East Region, he successfully led IPO, Sukuk issuance, Private placement, M&A, REIT, Reversed Acquisition, PPP mega projects, turnaround, and debt portfolio restructuring. He also possesses solid experience in the following sectors: Real Estate Development, Contracting, City Operations, Facility Management, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Hospitality, Entertainment, and Banking.

Mr. Marwan Dimas

Group Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

Marwan Dimas is a results-driven strategic leader with over 30 years of experience in marketing communication, sales, and strategic management. As the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Estithmar Holding, he has successfully led IPO communications, facilitated acquisitions, and driven ESG initiatives for prominent companies in the GCC region. Marwan specializes in digital transformations, brand revitalization, and revenue generation. His mission is to drive growth and innovation for Estithmar Holding and its stakeholders, leveraging his marketing communications and digital expertise. Marwan's extensive career achievements and expertise across various sectors make him a valuable asset in driving the success of the organizations he serves.

Mr. Riyad Al Sowaity

Group Chief Human Resources Officer

Mr. Riyad Al Sowaity is a strategic HR professional with over 20 years of HR leadership experience across international markets and extensive knowledge of local labor laws. His experience spans across various industries, including construction, infrastructure, healthcare and hospitality. Holding an MBA and a law degree, Mr. Al Sowaity aligns HR functions with organizational goals to foster high employee morale and ensure efficient HR processes. In his current role as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Estithmar Holding, Mr. Al Sowaity is supporting the company in translating its strategic vision into business plans while building competent teams and managing company budget. His expertise in HR policies, legal compliance, and employee development is significantly contributing to organizational success.

Mrs. Sanaa Daakour

Group Chief Legal Officer

Mrs. Sanaa Daakour joined Estithmar Holding in February 2020 as Head of Legal. She has been providing a full-scale legal support to Estithmar and its subsidiaries since then. Prior to joining Estithmar, Mrs. Sanaa worked as Senior Legal Advisor at Qatar Development Bank and Al Jaidah Group where she gained extensive experience in Qatari Laws. Prior to that, Mrs. Sanaa was a practicing lawyer, member of Beirut Bar Association in Lebanon and partner in Mena City Lawyers (Lebanon). Mrs Sanaa has years of professional experience in handling commercial transactions, corporate structuring, and different types of legal cases through her career as a Lawyer and Legal Advisor. Mrs. Sanaa holds a Bachelor degree in Law from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon.

Mr. Abd Almunem Al Sakka

Mr. Abd Almunem Al Sakka brings over two decades of extensive experience in senior leadership roles within Service companies, Construction, and Logistics across the Middle East. Mr. Joseph Hazel

Mr. Joseph Hazel is a seasoned leader in the Healthcare industry, with 30 years' C- suite experience across various geographical areas ranging from Africa, Europe, the UK, and the Middle East. Mr. Hazel joined Apex Health to lead and grow the portfolio across the region. Previously, he spent nearly 7 years at Mediclinic Middle East as Chief Operating Officer for the Abu Dhabi Emirate.  Mr. Hazel is completing his MSc in Healthcare Economics, Policy, and Management with (London School of Economics). Holds an MBA and Diploma in Management (Open University); certificates in Managing Healthcare Delivery and Strategy Execution (Harvard Business School); and completed director training (Institute of Directors) and leadership training (Officer British Army, Sandhurst). 

Mr. Eyad Elkhorebi

Cluster Chief Executive Officer - Contracting & Industries

Eng. Eyad K A El Khorebi is an accomplished leader with over 24 years of experience in driving operational excellence and managing cross-functional teams as a COO in one of the top leading contracting firms in the MENA region. Eng. Eyad oversaw strategic initiatives, developed and implemented strategic plans, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements and operations. Mr. Eyad has a proven track record of analyzing project performance metrics and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, Eng. Eyad is skilled in establishing and overseeing crucial departments, including tendering, planning and cost control, contracts, procurement, health and safety, quality assurance/quality control, and technical office functions. 

Eng. Eyad holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Applied Science University in Jordan, brings strategic leadership that has made substantial contributions to accomplishments in the construction sector, affiliated companies, and the wider industry. He maintains a steadfast dedication to fostering ongoing improvement initiatives and attaining sustainable business success.

Dr. Ahmad Al Zaatari

Chief Executive Officer - EWS Management Consultancy

Dr. Ahmad Al Zaatari boasts over 25 years of experience as a healthcare executive, having held various leadership positions such as CMO, COO, and CEO in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Additionally, he is an accomplished Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with 28 years of expertise in the field.

Dr. Al Zaatari earned his MD and underwent surgical training at the American University of Beirut. He furthered his education with a fellowship at New York University in the USA. His academic background also includes a degree in mathematics and a Master’s degree in Public Health and Hospital Management from the Ecole Superieur des Affaires.

Throughout his career, Dr. Al Zaatari gained experience in Quality management and auditing, Clinical informatics, Hospital process streamlining, Operations management and Hospital Governance. His contributions extend beyond clinical practice. Dr. Al Zaatari has served as a board member and shareholder at Hammoud Hospital University Medical Center. He was also the President of the Lebanon Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Furthermore, he held the position of Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Beirut Arab University. Notably, Dr. Al Zaatari chaired both the ethics committee and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at HHUMC. 

In January 2021, he joined Elegancia Healthcare and EWS Management Consultancy and Medical Agency in Doha, Qatar, initially as a consultant. His role evolved to that of COO and eventually CEO.

Mr. Mathew Dronsfield

Chief Executive Officer - The View Hospital

Mr. Dronsfield has over 30 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in acute healthcare provision across the UK and UAE.

Mr. Dronsfield joined Elegancia Healthcare in 2023 from Mediclinic Middle East where he spent over 6 years, lastly as Corporate Operations Director responsible for a portfolio of services across the continuum of care including IVF, Home Care, Enhance and the development of a Care Collaboration Centre providing telemedicine and chronic disease management services. He was also responsible for the development of Mediclinic’s Environmental, Social and Governance strategy.

Prior to this role, he was the Hospital Director responsible for leading Mediclinics flagship City Hospital which was voted the top private hospital in Dubai in the Newsweek World’s Best Hospitals 2022 rankings. As well as leading the hospitals response throughout the COVID-19 pandemic he introduced a robotic surgery program, living donor transplantation and achieved several international service accreditations for comprehensive cardiac, stroke, maternity and other tertiary services.

Matthew holds a master’s degree in business administration (Executive MBA) from the University of Hull, UK and has completed executive leadership courses from Ashridge Business School and the BUPA Healthcare Executive Programme.

Dr. Ahmed Al Kalla

General Manager - Korean Medical Center

Dr. Al-Kalla is a Healthcare Executive with 15+ years of international experience in the USA and GCC in managing and operating multi-specialty, multi-facility systems in the healthcare industry.

Dr. Al-Kalla joined Elegancia Healthcare in 2021 from NMC Healthcare Saudi Arabia (Riyadh-KSA) where he spent over 4 years, as the Vice President of Operations for five facilities in the Kingdom that were part of the NMC Health UAE Hospital System. The portfolio of services across these five facilities ranged from Primary Care to Tertiary Care Facilities, Home Care services, Long Term Care services, Cosmetics and Aesthetic Services.

Prior to this role, he was the Chief Executive Officer for Aster Sanad Hospital, based in Riyadh-KSA, one of the leading private 300 bedded tertiary care hospitals in the capital. Additionally, before that he served as the Project Manager / Healthcare Consultant, with Houston Methodist – Texas, USA, in UAE and KSA on many greenfield and brownfield projects in which he directed business operations, planned, and executed P&L, developed, and implemented industry-leading customer service efforts, and ensured clinical and non-clinical quality driven initiatives.

Dr. Al-Kalla holds a Medical Degree from Ross University, USA and a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston – Clear Lake, USA and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executive (ACHE).
