Today, the Iraqi Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Husnawi, along with the Governor of Dhi Qar, Mr. Muhammad Mortada Al-Ibrahimi, visited Al-Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital. During the visit, the Minister was briefed on the achievements of Apex Health, a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding, which is responsible for managing and operating Al- Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital. The Minister also reviewed the ongoing plans for the year 2025.
In Q2 2024, Estithmar Holding signed an agreement through its subsidiary, Apex Health, for the management and operation of Al-Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital in Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq, with a capacity of 492 beds. Preparatory work for taking over the hospital’s operations began in the second half of 2024, which included hospital renovations such as infrastructure development, completing the medical staff and administrative team, and updating systems and regulations to ensure comprehensive healthcare delivery according to the highest global standards. Additionally, the patient nutrition system was developed in collaboration with nutrition specialists, and specialized teams for cleaning, security, and other support services were appointed.
