Today marked the official handover ceremony of Misrata heart and Cardiovascular center to Elegancia Healthcare LIBQ Services W.L.L., a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding. The event was attended by the Libyan Prime Minister, Mr. Abdulhamid Dbeibeh, and Mr. Mohamed Bin Badr Al-Sadah, Group CEO of Estithmar Holding. The handover ceremony took place between Dr. Khaled Abu Turkia, the hospital's director, and Dr. William Jesse, CEO of Elegancia Healthcare LIBQ Services W.L.L., in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Militan, head of Libya's Department of Support and Development of Medical Services and Mr. Joe Hazel, CEO of Apex Health.
This step was implemented in accordance with the Prime Minister's Decision No. 632 of 2023 and Decision No. 530 of 2024, authorizing the Department of Support and Development of Medical Services to contract with Elegancia Healthcare LIBQ Services W.L.L..
Estithmar Holding had previously signed a definitive contract to manage and operate Misrata Heart and Cardiovascular center for a period of 15 years. The aim is to raise healthcare standards and enhance access to specialized treatment services for Libyan citizens. The contract also includes training Libyan medical and administrative staff, contributing to local capacity building and the development of Libya's healthcare system.
